I take Appa to Juvena with a very good feeling. You notice almost immediately that she is really crazy about animals and that for her, it is much more than just dog sitting. She really takes the time to get to know a dog and looks closely at what a dog needs. Not every dog is the same, of course, and that is exactly what I like so much about her.
With Appa, for example, she takes his character and his own habits into account. She looks at what makes him feel comfortable, when he needs rest, and what he enjoys doing. Because of this, I never get the feeling that he is just "going along" with the rest, but that she really looks at him as an individual. That gives me a lot of confidence as an owner.
What I also really like is that she enjoys doing real activities with the dogs. Appa, for example, goes along to the little beach at the Bergse Plaat or into the woods. So he doesn't just get his walks; he goes on really fun outings and gets plenty of exercise and variety. And when he comes home afterwards completely satisfied and tired, I know he has had a fun day.
I also find the communication with Juvena very pleasant. She keeps me well informed and sends photos and videos regularly. I really like being able to check in occasionally to see how Appa is doing and what he is up to. Especially when you are leaving your dog somewhere, that provides just that extra bit of reassurance.
Additionally, I appreciate that with her, you simply feel like you can discuss anything. You can indicate what your dog is used to, what he likes or dislikes, and what you value as an owner. She really listens to that and thinks along with you.
In short, I leave Appa with Juvena with peace of mind. You can tell from everything that she does this with a lot of love and attention, and that the well-being and enjoyment of the dogs come first. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a nice, committed, and reliable sitter for their dog!
