Who we are
Maui Doggy Daycare is a dog daycare in Rilland, Zeeland, run by Juvena Schreiber. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 42179496. You can reach us at juvena@mauidoggydaycare.nl or +31 6 39 83 21 42. Maui is responsible for the data in this statement.
What data we use
- Your name, email address and phone number, when you book an intro meeting, message us or become a client.
- Your address, when you become a client. We need it to pick up and bring home your dog, and for the invoice.
- Details about your dog: name, breed, age, health, vaccinations and behaviour. Without these we can't care for your dog safely.
- Name and phone number of your emergency contact.
- Google reviews: first name, last-initial and the photos that belong to the review, as shown on Google.
- Your request not to use, or to remove, a specific photo or video of you or your children.
- Website data. Anonymous visitor counts through Cloudflare, without cookies. More only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. See Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity below.

Photos and videos
During care we take photos and videos of the dogs. We use them on our website, on social media, on our Google Business Profile, on Apple Maps and for other promotion. The rules are in article 9 of our terms. We mention at most the dog's first name. In photos and updates that we share ourselves, your name, address and other details are never published, and we don't tag you without consent. If you post a review on Google yourself with your name, that remains your own, public choice.
- Images showing only dogs are not personal data. We never mention your name or address in them. Images where people are recognisable are only used with consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
- Images with people, children or reviewers recognisable in them, for example at a public event, are only used with their consent. If we do not have that consent, we do not use the image, or we make the person unrecognisable. Do you want a photo or video of you or your children not to be used, or removed? Ask us via WhatsApp or email. We can't recall what others have already shared.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We use these services for our work:
- Cal.com, to plan the intro meeting. The booking calendar on our website loads from Cal.com once you scroll to that section.
- Google, for email, calendar, website statistics (Google Analytics) and our business profile.
- Microsoft, for website statistics (Clarity).
- Apple, for our listing on Apple Maps.
- Meta, for WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
- Buffer, to schedule social media posts.
- folk (folk.app), our client list. It records which dog belongs to which owner.
- Claude (by Anthropic), an AI assistant that helps us with email and calendar. It connects through Composio.
- Cloudflare, to host the website and count visitors anonymously (Web Analytics).
Some of these services process data outside the EU. This is done under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We count visits to our website with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It also uses no data to track or recognise you. We only see totals: which pages are viewed, which site visitors come from, which country, and which kind of device and browser. Because this does not affect you, we do not ask for consent. It is therefore not in the cookie banner.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how visitors use our website. This only happens after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Decline" or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded. After you accept, we measure which pages you visit and whether you click a contact button (WhatsApp, phone, email, booking an appointment or joining the waiting list), so we can see which pages lead to contact. Google processes this data under Google's privacy terms. Your choice is stored in your browser. You can change your choice at any time via the 'Cookie settings' link at the bottom of every page.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website. Clarity makes session recordings and heatmaps: it records how you interact with the page (mouse movements, scrolling and clicks). This only happens after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; if you choose "Decline" or make no choice, Clarity is not loaded. What you type into form fields (such as your name, email address and phone number) is masked and not recorded. Microsoft processes this data as a processor; data may be processed outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU standard contractual clauses. Microsoft keeps the data according to Clarity's retention policy.
QR codes
If you scan a Maui QR code (for example on a business card or flyer), we count that scan anonymously. We only store which QR code it was, the country, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer) and your browser's language setting. No IP address, no cookies and nothing that can identify you.
How long we keep data
- Intro meeting with no follow-up: 6 months after the meeting.
- Client data: 2 years after the last care day.
- Invoices and accounts: 7 years. The law requires this.
- Photos with people in them: as long as the image is online, or until you ask us to remove it.
Your rights
You may view, correct or delete your data. You may also object, limit how we use it, or have it transferred. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request via WhatsApp or to juvena@mauidoggydaycare.nl. You'll get an answer within a month. Data we must keep by law, such as invoices, is only deleted once that period is over.
